While the main action will revolve away from all the cultural trouble that awaits us this year (…you might want to save the weekend of the 25.11. – 27.11.22…), we do have a preQueLL happening:
In July (past):
► Queerdos, unicorns, genderbread peepz and gender wizzzards, xxyz ˥uxembourg is back after a long (corona) break for its 3rd edition of the queer open mic evening. This time in collaboration with Queer Little Lies Festival 3 and the LGBTIQ+ Centre CIGALE.
Meeting at 7.30 p.m. on Saturday 30 July 2022 at the Piazza (outside) of Bâtiment 4 (66 Rue de Luxembourg, Esch/Alzette).
Every kind of performance is welcome: poetry, drag, songs, spoken word, acoustic instruments, dancing, rap, humour, reading, theatre, magic, etc. Come and share your joys, your (un)happiness, your rebellion. Bring your queerness and let’s create a queer-feminist radicool safer space together.

– Stage performances are reserved for LGBTIQA+ people to express their creativity in a space dedicated to them. Cis-het friends and allies can join us as spectators. No registration necessary for the general public.
– In the spirit of togetherness, bring your favourite drinks and snacks to share with others.
– The building and its toilets are wheelchair accessible (electric chair as well).
– Beginners, inexperienced and/or shy folks be welcome ! Some slots will be available for spontaneous performances.
– Please inform about trigger warnings and sexually explicit content before your performance.
– Our event is multilingual: express yourself in your favourite language(s), mix up languages if you like. We don’t care about accents; we care about content.
– No kind of oppressive and hurtful language and acts will be accepted.

Après le succès du projet virtuel #VoixLesbiennes, mené en 2020 en pleine pandémie, nous proposons de nous rencontrer hors-ligne (et autour d’un verre) pour une soirée d’écriture et de créativité autour des vies lesbiennes, bisexuelles et queer. Prose ou poésie, c’est en laissant des traces que nous existons dans le présent et que nous existerons pour les générations qui nous suivront. Si nous n’écrivons pas nos/notre histoire(s), qui le fera ?

~ 30.04.22: Drag King Workshop with renowned drag king artist Victor Lemaure, in cooperation with Xxyz Luxembourg, Centre Lgbtiq+ Cigale & Pink Ladies – Queer Women Luxembourg
Après une longue pause, xxyz ˥uxembourg – en collaboration avec le Centre LGBTIQ+ CIGALE, les Pink Ladies et dans le cadre du QLL- Queer Little Lies Festival 3 – revient avec un atelier Drag King. Nous aurons l’honneur d’accueillir Victor Le Maure, un King de Paris pour une journée de déstabilisation du genre.
