EDSUN
EDSUN is exuding a new kind of energy after a lockdown which he took as a time to reflect about how he wants his future to be. E wants us to come closer to him and to see sides of him never revealed before. From stories told on stage to a level up of self-acceptance he keeps commanding his stage like he was born to do it. Encouraging others to love themselves by his performance no matter the colour of their skin or the person they want to love, EDSUN likes to take new risks by singing, dancing and speaking his truth.

Inspire the Night – BATEKOO by BATEKOO / Red Bull Music (BRA, 2018)
In an uncertain time for Brazilian LGBTQ youth and people of color, a vibrant community is stepping up to provide a safe place for marginalized people to feel accepted and simply have fun. Batekoo, this inclusive collective, focuses on creating safe spaces in Brazil for the LGBTQ and black communities through empowerment, equality, and acceptance.
MASTERCLASS Q with FERNANDO LOPEZ
Fernando López Rodríguez (Madrid, 1990) est artiste et chercheur. Il est Docteur en Esthétique, Sciences et technologies des Arts (Spécialité Danse et Arts du Geste) et il a suivi une double formation en Philosophie et en Danse. En Philosophie, il a fait sa Licence et son Master à l’Université Complutense de Madrid et puis un Master en Philosophie et Critiques Contemporaines de la Culture à l’Université Paris VIII. En danse, il a fait des études en Danse Flamenco en Espagne à la Chair de Flamencologie de Jerez de la Frontera (APDE) ainsi qu’une Licence et un Master en Danse à l’Université Paris VIII. En parallèle, il a développé sa carrière comme danseur et chorégraphe dans différentes compagnies en Espagne, France et Allemagne, et comme écrivain et chercheur. Dans le domaine de la création, il dirige son propre projet chorégraphique depuis 2009 avec lequel il a créé Bailar las palabras (Valencia, 2013), H2OHNO (New York, 2014), Bailar en hombre (Madrid, 2015), Intimo Interior Meo (Madrid, 2016), DeCid (Madrid, 2016), Pensaor (2018), Too easy to see (2018) et ¿Y después? (2020). Il a collaboré aussi avec nombreux artistes du milieu du flamenco contemporain comme Juan Carlos Lérida, Olga Pericet, José Manuel Álvarez et Belén Maya. Dans le domaine de la recherche il a gagné le I Prix de Recherche en Danse de l’Académie des Arts Scéniques de l’Espagne avec son Mémoire de M2, qui a été traduit et publié en espagnol sous le nom « Espejismos de la identidad coreográfica : estéticas y transformaciones de la farruca ». Il a aussi publié De puertas para dentro : disidencia sexual y disconformidad de género en la tradición flamenca (Egales, 2017) et Historia queer del flamenco (Egales, 2020).
